I have been defending people against criminal charges for most of my professional career. The job of a criminal defense lawyer is not an easy one. I am confronted constantly by the powerful forces of law enforcement and the unlimited budgets of most prosecutors.

I counterattack a criminal case using every legal tool, maneuver, strategy, and tactic I can think of. Our staff is devoted to gathering information about the particulars of your case and then researching the applicable case law. We take every case seriously. The criminal justice system if you allow it will trample on your rights as a defendant, stain your record as a citizen, take away your property, and then take away your freedom to live in society. Jail is a terrible place to spend any part of one's life: even a day.

Criminal defense is all we do. We are familiar with almost every district attorneys' office in Pennsylvania, and we have fought federal cases in a number of jurisdictions in the United States. We have developed an expertise in sophisticated drug crimes, complicated white collar crimes, and internet crimes with a special focus on the growing area of internet sex crimes/child pornography.

We are a full service criminal defense law firm. When you hire us, you not only get our excellent reputation, but the begrudging respect of the prosecutor at the bar of the court. You may find that our fees are not as competitive as some other criminal defense lawyers. That is because when we take cases, we work them to death in an attempt to win them. There is no sound more pleasing to our ears than the words "not guilty ". We work within the justice system and use its rules and procedures to your best advantage.

A large number of our cases are tried before juries. We use a complicated and well thought out system in order to pick twelve jurors who will give you a fair trial. Some lawyers are afraid of juries. We are not. We have won hundreds of jury trials.

What you'll notice about us from day one is that we will speak frankly, directly. and sometimes even abruptly to you about your case. Once you've come to see us, we assume that you're not there so that we can set up your turn in date for your sentence. If you are in our offices, we assume you are there to get the best defense to the charges against you.
